Should be in this for a long way. BOUNDING CHIEF (3) chased the lead early from the inside and boxed on well to finish second, beaten a nose (30.60) at The Meadows in a Grade 5 over 525m. Has performed well from this box with a win and three minor placings to his name from seven starts. Bold showing expected. LES NORTON (6) was below best last time when fifth at Warrnambool but prior to that among the placings in quick time (28.46) at this track. Expected to do much better this time.
