KRAKEN SANDY (8) was big odds last time but gave a huge sight after a fast early split, grabbed late but holding on to a placing when a 0.8 lengths second (28.57) over 500m at this track. Form is hard to fault from this box, with a win and two minor placings from three starts. Likely to feature again. CHEEKY STREAK (7) showed good early burn but run over late to finish 7th at Warrnambool in Bottom Up - Restricted Win company. Won at her only start from this box. Can do much better this time. RIPPER RAE (5) missed the frame last time at The Meadows but was a R/A FIN winner the start prior (30.07) and goes well this course. Has the ability and looks a key chance here. CRACKERJACK GREG (2) can run a bold race on best form.
