MATT LOCH (1) was strongly fancied latest and proved too good with a 1.75 lengths win at this track in a handy 22.29. Has the coveted inside box and goes well over this trip. Form from his last run is proving to be solid. Hard to fault his form and makes plenty of appeal again. MEPUNGA REWARD (2) is a consistent dog overall, in the frame at 17 of 46 starts including 19 wins but missed the frame latest when sixth (29.96) over 520m at Cannington. Has never missed the frame here from three starts. Has a good overall strike-rate and can find the frame here. IDYLLIC JAMES (5) goes very well at the course and distance with two wins and a placing from four starts. Comes off a (16.62) win last time, scoring by 1.75 lengths in a Grade 5 over 300m at Healesville. Looks one of the chances. DOLLAR BUCKS (4) was out of the money at this circuit last start but can make amends.
