RIVER KING (7) struggled in tougher grade last start after being shuffled back early at this track, but prior to that won by half a length at this track (19.92) beating Why Not Hayden in a Grade 5 on September 2. Has ability and is a key runner. TARGET RANGE (2) has been hard to follow lately, running fifth (19.90) last time but prior to that ran very well when placed at Warragul. Expected to do much better this time. THAI BUTTERFLY (8) was sent out long odds last time but charged out of the boxes with a fast early sectional and gave a sight before being swallowed up late, finishing a 3.5 lengths sixth (20.01) over 350m at this track. Can do much better this time. ARCANA (3) was unplaced here last start but gets his chance to atone.
