METRICAL LEADER (7) jumped well and was a winner (23.36) two back from a tricky draw then last start drew a squeeze box again but got further back and finished 6th at Casino (23.90). Better than the latest effort and deserves another chance. DEARDEN (1) caught the eye with a fast early split and setting up a one length win at this track over 352m in 19.85. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Can make it two on the bounce. TITANIUM BLUE (4) drew the inside and won last time at Q Straight over 350m (18.91), scoring by 1.3 lengths. Expected to feature again. BENTLEY REX (2) collected a minor prize last start and must be considered.
