Richmond Race 5 - More From Tote With Ladbrokes 1-2 Win

OPTIMISM (2) finished seventh last time but just a few runs back broke the clock when winning over 520m at this track, taking a Grade 5 in a dynamic 29.56. Can measure up again if runs up to recent best times. ZIPPING NICKEIL (7) doesn't win out of turn. Finished third (30.05) at this track latest and might be close to finding winning form again. Good beginner but will need a little luck early crossing from an outside draw. Will give a great sight again. OVERFLOW SHELLY (1) has been in the money at her last two runs, most recently when second beaten 3 lengths (30.20). Good beginner assisted by the inside draw. Well-placed to take this out.

Working her way into winning form after claiming her maiden success on July 2 at Wentworth Park over 520m. Last start was second over 520m in 30.20, behind Trunkey Aviator. Won at her only start from this draw. Worth following.

Missed the frame last start when seventh but had been in strong form prior to that, winning two on end before placing two back. Better than last run and looks set to run well.

Backs up quickly after winning by 2 lengths at this track (22.89) beating Rusty Patch in a Grade 5 on October 25 three days ago. Likely to find this a lot tougher and he needs to find another gear.

Has not shown much in recent runs. Could only manage fourth last time out over 401m at this track. Happy enough to dismiss in this field.
