AWESOME BANDIT (8) jumped well to win over the 515m at Sandown two runs back then prominent throughout when finishing second at Sandown last start. Makes plenty of appeal. SPRINGER'S BOY (6) missed the frame latest but had been racing well prior to that including a Grade 5 win two back (24.20) at Sale. Expecting significant improvement this line-up. ASTON SUMMIT (1) had been in great form but missed the frame latest when seventh (26.83) in a Grade 4/5 at Ballarat. Generally a safe beginner but never in it last time. Worth another chance. RATTLER (7) must be included in calculations.
