MACK IN BOOTS (7) flew the lids from out wide with a slick early split but ran over at the finish when a narrow fourth (26.26) over 450m at Ballarat. Still to record a win from this draw but has never missed the frame in two starts. Worth following up. DIMORA PATCH (3) shows ability but remains a maiden after 21 starts. Missed the frame when fourth (24.01) at Horsham latest but was in the placings the start before. Expected to run well. NANDO TUFF (2) is sure to play a big role again after a run of minor placings.
