Former Kiwi SHANKYS SHOT NZ (6) made an encouraging debut in Queensland when he came from this barrier for third over 1660m at this venue. Fitter so has winning claims. FITZROY NZ (5) only beat a couple home last week but was going well prior having kicked off his campaign with a win and two placings. Can bounce back. JAMES ALFRED (3) has been thereabouts of late and was solid again when fourth last week. Had recorded a win and two placings from his pervious three starts. Draws for a good showing. ETERNAL BLISS (2) missed by just a nose last start and won twice in a row prior. Draws well so respect.
