FIRE AND PASSION (1) is taking on a far easier race this time after finishing seventh in a Group One at his latest appearance over 2138m at this track, beaten 16 metres by PURE GRUNT. Drawn well and down sharply in grade so watch for a return to form. RUGGARDS GEE TEE (2) was responsible for a good effort at his latest appearance to get home by a narrow margin over 2138m at this track on August 18. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. PURE GRUNT (3) saluted a Group One over 2138m at this track last time out to bring up his hat-trick, scoring by a nose. Should enjoy a lovely run and looks a genuine contender again. JAMES ALFRED (6) was just denied by PURE GRUNT at his latest outing in a Group One over 2138m at this track. Proven performer in better company; hard to beat.
