Went into that off a win from a similar barrier to this at Maryborough so will enjoy the class drop. ALECTRONA (5) continued her good form when third in a Vicbred consolation last start at Kilmore. Easy maiden winner at Cranbourne prior. Draws wider than in her last two outings but was runner-up from this barrier here last month and this race should suit. JILLIBY RADIANCE (6) led from a similar draw here last time out and stuck on for fourth. Her lone career win came at this shorter distance. Big chance. PURPLE MOON (10) may need some luck from this draw but has put together a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid second at this venue.
