Bathurst Race 5 - Skillset Senior College Pace

ALWAYSBMYPONY (4) has been racing well of late. Scored back-to-back wins here earlier in the campaign and hasn't missed the top-four despite drawing on the back line in each outing since. The return to the front row can see him back in the winners' list. SMOOTH BUZZ (7) has been racing without luck. Was held up last time out at Menangle so was far from disgraced. Has to contend with a wide draw once again but owns a fine record here so can improve sharply. CASSIUS DECK (8) enjoys a class drop from Menangle and did record back-to-back wins in May, one here and the other in the city. With his best he could overcome the wide barrier. MCLEAN (3) goes up in grade but draws well and has been hard to fault with back-to-back wins at this circuit and distance.
