CALABASAS (1) made an encouraging debut when she came from a much wider barrier and finished fourth last start, beaten 5.4 metres at Geelong. Open to natural improvement and should have no excuses from the inside draw. PIPALICIOUS (10) bombed the start last time but had placed in four of her previous five starts so has looked close to a win for a while. Could achieve it here with manners and even luck from the back row. HEIR JAURDON (7) lines up for the first time. By Angus Hall and hails from the David Miles stable. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position but she comes off a good showing in her latest trial at Melton.
