IM DOWNBYTHEBEACH NZ (6) left NZ off a debut win and kept his perfect record intact when scoring at Melton in his first outing for Julie Douglas. Came from this barrier there and did some work before finding the front and digging deep. Has upside and could go on with it. IN AN IDEAL WORLD (12) may need a touch of luck from this draw but has put two placings together and races well at this distance. JUST AS WELL NZ (1) placed at this circuit and distance last start and could be competitive again from the ace draw. LOU WILL NZ (4) is in the mix after finishing only 3.3m away last start at Melton.
