Manners let SCAR (6) down when he was a hot favourite last start but he had looked close to a win when runner-up in his previous two outings. With luck and manners he is a winning chance. MAGIC LAW (2) scored back-to-back wins in February and hasn't been far off the placings since. Kept the ball rolling last time when fourth from this barrier at Maryborough. Back from a let-up but can measure up. BAR TAB (7) came from this barrier to score at Melton two runs back then started favourite but broke and finished fourth last start at Maryborough. Has trialled well since. Major player. NIGHT FLIGHT (1) wasn't too far off the placegetters last time and draws to be competitive.
