MEET ME AT THE BEACH NZ (1) comes here after making up plenty of ground to salute by 1.1 metres at her latest appearance over 1800m at this track. Has the benefit of a good draw. Meeting a deeper field this time but she good enough to play a major role. NEED ME SOME SUGAR (4) had a favourable gate and was too good at Gawler two runs ago. Drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 10 metres into seventh here over 1800m. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. CYCLONE BRENDA (7) didn't do a bad job when sixth over 1800m at this circuit last time out. ROLLING REMONA (5) has been about the mark of late and must be respected, the latest offering a sound second at this venue over 2230m.
