Globe Derby Race 5 - 2026 Fed Live South Australian Pacing Derby (Final) (Listed Classic) (Sky 1)

LUVTOBEUPTOME (4) did a great job in overcoming a wider barrier for a win in the heats last week, getting home by 6.6m at this circuit and distance. Showed his ability when competitive in the Vicbred Super Series last month and owns a good record at this trip. The lower draw should see him tough to stop. MAJOR BLITZ (10) started a hot favourite last week but he had to work to find the front and couldn't hold LUVTOBEUPTOME off. Draws on the back row but came from this line for fourth in the Vicbred Final at Melton last month. A repeat of that performance would take him close here. ZANDA MAN (8) has been solid since a Melton win three back. Owns a strong record at the distance and he draws for a trail so looms as a potential challenger. STEAM MACHINE (1) was an upset winner last week but he'll be at peak fitness now and is well served by the ace draw so include.
