JILLIBY SNIPER (4) was responsible for a far better performance last time out when he scored by 2 metres over 2180m at Terang. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. POSTERIZED (3) has recorded two wins and two minor placings from the past five starts. Returned to the winners' list last time out when he found the lead and kept finding to go on and score by a head at Ballarat over 2200m. Has the benefit of a good draw. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. GOLD IN PARIS (9) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid second at Stawell over 1785m. Hard to find fault. STEAM MACHINE (2) is worth some thought after his last-start sixth when resuming over 2230m at Globe Derby Park on September 26.
