MACHO MAORI (7) came from a back row draw when he scored at Bendigo starts ago and returned to something like that form last time out when third at Melton, beaten just over 5 metres. Must overcome a very wide draw but this looks a suitable assignment. MISTA WALKER (6) draws wide but might find this easier than his two attempts since kicking off the campaign with back-to-back seconds and has placed in both previous visits to this venue. MASSIF CENTRAL (8) draws for a trail and his form reads well, placing in two of three starts since a win at this circuit and distance so must be considered. KALARNEY PRINCE (3) was well beaten first up but this looks easier and he'll be be fitter so looking for better.
