FAKE CULLECTION (7) turned in a strong effort last time out when she led and dug deep to score by a neck over 1650m at Bendigo. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but her latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. AMBER ALERT (3) drew a wide gate last start and had to work but there was merit in the resuming effort prior when fourth at Bendigo. Has the benefit of a good draw and should strip fitter so can figure in the finish. RIGHTEOUSLY (1) might find this easier than the last attempt at Melton and is aided by the inside draw. HURRICANE HOOLY (8) is worth some thought in what looks a suitable assignment.
