THEROUX (5) was beaten as a hot favourite last start but drew poorly and had to work so it may pay to be forgiving. Had missed by just a nose when resuming at this circuit and distance prior so is worth another chance. MIKI MARK (7) came from the back row for fourth last start at this venue having kicked off the campaign with a Bendigo placing. Draws wide but is building towards a win. MYNAMEISRUBY (2) has won a trial since working and sticking on for second last start, her sixth placing from her last seven starts. Up in grade but draws better and won the only time she attempted this circuit and distance. SHIRALEE (6) looks better placed and has claims off a second two back at Melton. IM THE WILD ONE (4) improved for third at Terang six days ago. Has placed in both previous attempts at this circuit and distance so can progress further third up.
