CRACKIN PHILTRA (4) raced parked but fought on and finished just a head away in third at Shepparton last week at his first outing back from a spell. Lightly-raced with plenty of upside so he is capable of getting the job done. LIBERTY STAR DUST (7) produced a good effort at his latest appearance when second at Cranbourne, beaten 2.8 metres. May need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position but he has won here before. TRYX VIXEN (3) is right in contention after finishing in the placings for the second time in a row last start, beaten 1.2 metres into second at this venue. JANSEN (5) hit his peak when third-up last week, recording his maiden win at Maryborough. Could be ready to work through his grades.
