BARBARY TALES (7) made a nice return at her latest appearance three weeks ago, finishing 2.5 metres away in second over 2090m at Hobart. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Taking on a better field but she is fitter and up to the task. THE BRIDE (8) last appeared when a eighth over 2150m at Birchip on March 8, capping off a fine prep that saw her salute on three occasions. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Will have plenty of admirers. OUR WILLOW (6) is the next best after finishing third over 2090m at Hobart last time out. SMOOTH REASON (3) is the next elect off a last-start win by 2 metres at this track over 2200m.
