FREMARKS PEGGY (4) has been excellent of late and made it two wins in a row when successful at her latest appearance at this venue, coming from a wide barrier getting home by 2.6 metres after working. Goes up in grade but draws a couple of spots lower so could strike again. Primary contender. ROMANTIC NINA (3) did a good job to come from the back row and finish third last time out, beaten 4.5 metres in a nice return to form at Ballarat. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Winning chance. THE ITALIAN DREAM (6) was down the track last time but won two of her other three starts this time in and scored the only time she attempted this circuit and distance. CADENCE LANE (7) has had a month off and changed stables since last seen at Globe Derby. Market watch.
