ITZ CLASSIC GOLD (1) was out of the money two starts ago then things went amiss last start when he broke and finished a distant sixth over 1720m at Melton. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Beautifully placed and he should turn things around. SHEZALOVER (7) settled close to the pace then went to the lead and fought on well to finish third in a 2190m race at Shepparton last start, beaten 15 metres at her first run back from a layoff. The driver has some work to do from this wide starting position. Her last-start form is good enough to put her right in the finish. PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (3) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 1690m at this track five days ago. DONA AMALIA (8) is in the mix following a respectable third at her most recent appearance over 2190m at Shepparton.

Ran well last start showing plenty of improvement following September 18 run. Just managed to hang on and win was well back before the turn; won by a nose when driven back in the field, (Fr6) held up early, at Kilmore (2:48.00) beating Silent Reverie in M on September 30 at $7 at the bell was 6th-14.4. This race will be harder than that win. Facing a tough assignment this time around.
