SOHO DARKNSTORMY (6) came from this barrier to work and win here in January and looks close to another success after finishing runner-up in three of four outings since, last week leading and sticking on to go under by 1.5m. Yet to miss a place at this distance so could go one better. SOAP AND BUBBLES (10) has yet to place in two starts since a spell but does enjoy a class drop on the last attempt when midfield. Races well at this distance and has won both previous third-up attempts so can peak here. SERGEANT LOU (4) has only once missed a place in five fresh outings and should be ready to go off three trials. TEN DA TOUCH NZ (8) continued his solid form when he placed at this circuit and distance last week and draws for a trail. ODIN (5) has claims off a win from a similar draw three back at Bendigo.
