BULLETPROOF BOY (7) copped an early check and broke before beating only one home in last week's Miracle Mile in Sydney but was terrific from a similar draw to this in the prior outing, steaming home to be beat the highly-regarded Rakero Rocket in the G2 Newcastle Mile. A repeat of that performance would see him tough to stop in this line-up. FIGHTER COMMAND (5) hasn't raced since he broke in last September's Eureka but was going very well with a string of top-two finishes prior. Strikes at 50 per cent at this circuit and should be ready to go off two trial wins. SMOKEN ACE NZ (6) draws wider but may enjoy the drop in distance having continued his good form by leading and boxing on to place in the Geelong Cup last week. OLIVER DAN (4) was just behind Smoke Ace after working in the Geelong Cup and draws lower.
