THESTATESMAN (6) has been tackling higher-graded races and did a good job for a 3.5m second at this circuit and distance last time out. Draws wider but finds a winnable assignment. ODIN (5) drew wider and had to work here last week but stuck on well when beaten only 1.2m into third. Draws a couple of spots lower and with a better run has winning claims. SEA FURY NZ (8) added to his consistent form when runner-up after working at Shepparton last week. Draws for a trail and won the last time he started from this barrier. LUVA SCRAP (7) was solid when fifth here last time and put together a series of top-four finishes prior. Draws wide but he is ticking along well.
