ALDEBARAN ZANE (1) went well to finish third two starts ago then registered a comfortable win last start, scoring by 10 metres over 1609m at Menangle. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. Meets a comparable field and he can make it two on the trot. SAM NIEN (4) could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 1720m at this track, a poor reflection on his short quote. Meets some strong opposition this time but he has the ability to test this field. ALDEBARAN ABEL (8) disappointed last time when tenth over 1720m at this track. Can bounce back to top-three form. PARIS KAY (5) is worth some thought after her last-start fourth over 2240m at this track on July 25.
