LOVEMETO NZ (6) makes his first appearance since July's Inter Dominion series where he won a heat and was midfield in the final. Won over this distance the last time he raced here and is a two-time fresh winner. He'll be ready to go off two trial wins and finds a highly winnable assignment. HOPPY NZ (1) drew wider and went back when resuming last start but worked home in good style for second to a top mare at this circuit and distance. Tackles some smart ones here but he'll be fitter and gets the ace draw. IMPERIAL MONARCH NZ (2) is first up four-and-a-half months after ending last campaign with a string of placings. Strikes at 50 per cent when fresh and was readied with a trial win. FOUROUTOFFIVE (5) could be next best having won here two back.
