BROOKLYN DAN (7) hasn't raced since his fifth in July's Queensland Derby but was racing very well with a string of wins and placings prior including a Group 2 Gold Chalice victory. Draws wide but he has won when fresh before and will be ready to go off a trial win. SOHO TRUMP (1) took full advantage of this barrier for an easy win in a Vicbred consolation last week, his third success in four outings so far this campaign. His strike rate at this circuit and distance stands at 50 per cent including last year's Vicbred final. The ace draw could see him tough to catch. DYNAMITEDAN (6) hasn't raced since the Queensland winter carnival but his record at this circuit and distance stands at two from two. Strikes at 50 per cent when fresh and was readied with a trial win. A low draw could see ATUA MAGIC NZ (2) competitive.
