Melton Race 1 - Vicbred Voucher 2yo Mdn Trot

THECANDYBARHEIRESS (5) was a beaten favourite on debut but performed well for second at this circuit and distance. Draws a little wider but is open to natural improvement. Big chance. LOLLY (6) had a tough draw when last seen in the Vicbred Super Series Final. Big class drop here and had been runner-up at her other two starts this time in. Strong claims. DELIGHTED (3) is stepping out for the first time. By Captain Crunch and hails from the Kylie Sugars stable. Was not far away in her latest trial and draws well so keep safe. SERIOUSLY SAL (7) draws wide but could be close to a win after seconds in two of her last three outings.

Last start was well beaten into eleventh behind Kyvalley Dixon at this track over 2240m in a 2yo G1 on September 12 at $51. Raced better the start before that with a good run when 2nd (Fr5) over 2240m after showing early speed at this track was 3rd-3.98 at the bell, beaten 3 m by Majaro Girl (2:48.80) in 2yo on September 4 at $13.
