LOCKSLEY CAVALIER (6) has had seven weeks off since he worked and faded when resuming but has been kept up to the mark with a nice trial. Capable when right and won the only time he attempted this distance so prepared to give him another chance. KENNYS SON (5) found form when he led and and scored two runs back then came back to earth when he broke last start. Has trialled twice since, winning the latest. If he gets it right he is good enough to beat this field. MAJESTIC MONARCH (4) is worth plenty of thought having come from this barrier for a last-start win by 5 metres at Kilmore. DOSSIER (2) draws much better than last start and had recorded back-to-back seconds from similar barriers to this prior so is worth another chance.
