TIMMY TURTLE NZ (5) showed good improvement when second up at his most recent outing, leading to score by 9 metres in a nice return to form. That added to a strong record at this circuit and distance. Can go on with it. CHARLESTON AVENUE (7) is hard to knock off back-to-back wins, the latest at Maryborough when he worked but toughed it out. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but with even luck he can keep the ball rolling. CENTURION DREAM (2) copped a check and broke last start but had some good prior form, recording back-to-back wins in September, one of them here. Draws well so worth another chance. FREIGHT SHAKER (10) didn't have the best of luck last start at Maryborough but recorded a win and a second in his previous two outings here so is capable of better.
