Star filly BETTOR BEACH (5) looks a level above these. She stretched her winning run to five and landed her second Group 1 when she led to dominate the Victoria Oaks here last start. Big drop in distance but won her lone try at the trip. Hard to go past her. DEMBE (3) was far from disgraced when fourth behind Vicbred winner Enjoy Life here last week. Had won four in a row prior and drops to a distance where he strikes at 50 per cent. Draws well so could be competitive. OUR VINCENT CAN GOGH NZ (6) draws a little wide but has been ticking along okay so could get into the trifecta. TED NZ (1) hasn't raced since a Bendigo win 15 months ago but generally comes to hand very quickly, with three wins from four first-up appearances. Has trialled so include from the ace draw.
