MAJOR ART NZ (8) recorded his first win on Australian soil when he took advantage of the inside barrier last start at Penrith. Draws wider but came from this barrier to miss by a nose at this circuit and distance last month. Could strike again. GOLDEN TRIBE (11) cops the outside barrier but looks very close to a win after placing in his last three outings, two of them here. Suited back to a distance where he has recorded three wins and a placing from five attempts. With even luck he could break through. RED SAPPHIRE (9) draws wider than in last week's fourth but has been ticking along well. FOXFIRE EASTON NZ (3) was far from disgraced at big odds last time and could be competitive from a much better draw.
