LA FAMILIA NZ (2) is unbeaten in three starts since crossing from NZ, one of those coming at this circuit and distance when she crossed to lead from a much wider draw and cruised home. She takes a step up in grade but has the speed to take advantage of the draw so can continue on her winning way. FARFALLA STRIDE (11) draws wide but is going well, placing in higher-graded races at this circuit and distance in both outings off a spell. Might need some luck but her third-up record stands at two wins and a placing from three attempts so should be peaking. SNAP SHOT NZ (8) could be close to a win after two successive placings against the boys, the latest from a similar draw here last week. DAVOLAS LEGACY NZ (9) and POPS JOY (10) both draw wide but are going well enough to be competitive with even luck.
