DOUBLE LOU (8) makes his first appearance since July's Rising Sun but he was readied for this with two strong trials. Draws wide but he flies fresh with three wins and a placing from four attempts and his strike rate at this circuit and distance is encouraging. SINALOA (5) took on some handy rivals when midfield in a Listed FFA race last week. Fitter for that and is better placed against his own age group. HEEZA MALTEEZA (3) hasn't raced since he won here in March but should be ready to go off a couple of trials and has won three of five previous first-up attempts. Draws for a good return. WICKED WIZARD (2) led from much wider to place last week and is suited coming back to the mile having won here the last two times he raced over the distance. Has the speed to take advantage of a low draw. BETTORLIGHTEM UP (7) faded after working last start but won three of his previous four so is capable of better.
