ALERT BAY (7) came from this barrier in last week's Breeders Challenge 3CG Final and did a great job in chasing Loucasso home, the fourth time this campaign he has been runner-up to that star rival. Has been very consistent and is a big chance in this line-up. MOST EXCITING (6) has had a series of back row draws but has been racing well from there, placing at Melton last start. The last two times he started on the front row he won a semi-final and placed in the final of the Vicbred Series. He could return to the winners' list tonight. SHOWMETHETANLINES NZ (3) had enough speed to lead from a wider barrier before cruising home when resuming at this circuit and distance. This is stronger but he'll be fitter and can take advantage of the lower draw. FRIZZA (2) draws much better than he did in last week's Breeders Challenge final and his performance to go close in a semi-final prior was strong.
