MAJOR LINCOLN (8) scored at Stawell two starts back then did a good job again at his latest appearance at this circuit and distance, beaten only 1.5 metres into third after being close to the pace throughout. That gave him two wins and two placings from the last four outings. Leading hope with even luck from the back row. FLEUR BELLA (5) led from this barrier when she scored here last month and turned in a good effort last start when fourth from the back row. Major player. PUNTO CALIENTE (6) broke following a check here last start but still managed to fill a minor placing, adding to a series of top-four results. Go well. SUNSHINE WARRIOR (9) draws on the back line but is in contention after winning here last week.
