AVENGER NZ (6) kicked off for the new yard with a win at Tamworth two starts ago before chasing a handy one when midfield over a longer distance here last week. Should be race fit third up and this looks winnable. RIPPIN RUPERT (8) won from the back row the last time he raced here and has been consistent since, placing in both a heat and the consolation of the Golden Guitar in his last two outings. Draws wide but was kept up to the mark with a trial win and drops in grade. SWEET ROCKY (10) found the going a bit tough at Menangle last time but he looks better placed having recorded three wins and a second from his previous four outings. CHEDDAR VALLEY NZ (5) must be considered after placing in his last three outings here.
