KING HIT NZ (1) came from a wider barrier when fourth in a higher-graded race at Tamworth last start. That was just his second start since crossing from NZ so expect there is improvement to come and he has both a class drop and the ace draw in his favour. CAPITALISM (2) had a tough gate last start but had put two wins together prior, one of them in the city. Led in both of those wins so expect him to enjoy the low draw. DALLAS DALE NZ (3) is heading the right way, improving last time out to miss by just a nose at Penrith. HES MY REASON (7) draws deep but is flying having put four wins together and his strike rate at this circuit and distance stands at 50 per cent.
