QUICKSHIFT GIRL (8) produced a good effort at her latest run to get home by a narrow margin over 1609m at this track on March 19. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. OPEN THE GATES (6) is worth another chance after a last-start eighth over 1609m here seven weeks ago. JETASI NZ (5) is in the mix if she can recapture the form from two starts back that saw her score over 1720m at Penrith. May earn some minor money.
