D J ROCK NZ (2) has been racing very well from wider or second row draws of late, winning here last month and missing narrowly when runner-up last start at Menangle. Should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. That could see him tough to beat. MAGNETIC STORM (7) recorded a strong performance last start when he led and fought on bravely to just miss out by a nose at this venue. Must overcome a wider draw but that last effort had plenty of merit. MARRANZANO (8) disappointed when resuming but showed ability as a juvenile last season. Draws wide but should be fitter so could be a big improver. ROBUST EASTON NZ (4) could strike again having come from this barrier for a last-start win by a neck at Menangle.
