GIVE ME A MINUTE NZ (2) led as favourite at Penrith last time out and while he couldn't see it out he stuck on okay for fifth, beaten less than 6 metres. Has the speed to be prominent again from another advantageous draw. This looks winnable. MISTER QUIRK (3) had a tough draw on the back row when returning to the Josh Farrugia yard last week so was far form disgraced when beaten 6.5m in a higher-graded race at Penrith. Much better served by this barrier and has a decent record at this circuit and distance. The recent form of LITTLE DEMON (1) may not leap off the page but he has had a series of wide or second line barriers co could be a big improver from the ace draw. GRUMPYSHANNON (7) was drawn on the back row last time and while he cops a wide barrier he did well to place in his previous two outings here.
