LONESOME STRANGER (3) is back from a spell of five months having shown ability in a brief maiden campaign including a win as a hot favourite on debut at Wagga. Has joined Luke McCarthy since and looks to be right up to the mark following a recent trial win at Menangle. That should have him ready to go and he draws well. CHANGES (9) enjoyed the class drop from the Breeders Challenge series when he led and scored at this circuit and distance last week, arriving 3.2 metres ahead of his rivals. Draws on the back line this time but should enjoy a nice trail and if he gets the gaps he is capable of getting the job done again. BETTOR ELEMENTS (5) is working towards a win having finished runner-up here last time. REVVIN REYNARD (8) has won a trial since fading out of a Breeders Challenge heat in the city last start and missed by just a nose here prior.
