Beaten only 1.5m on debut at this circuit and distance two starts back then did a good job from this barrier at his latest appearance at Penrith, racing parked but sticking on for third. Primary contender. COOLABAH BILL (1) has come from wider barriers in each outing so far. Was third at this circuit and distance three back and hasn't been far from the placings since. Should enjoy a soft run from the ace draw. FEROCIOUS LOVER (9) was solid in both a heat and semi-final of the Breeders Challenge series in her last two outings in the city. Draws on the back row but missed narrowly from there last month at Goulburn. SAN LUCA (7) draws wide but should find this easier than recent attempts.
