ELLIANA (5) has been a bit hot and cold and that continued last start when she finished second, beaten 5 metres, in a nice return to form at this track over 2190m. Recent efforts are good enough to take out a race like this. WHERE IT BEGAN (1) is back from a break of three months and looks to be right up to the mark following a placing in a recent trial. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and is likely to run a big race to kick off this campaign. MAJOR FRIEND (8) should be at her peak for this. Finished third over 2190m at this venue at the latest appearance a week ago. Sure to give the top fancies plenty to think about. AMADA VILLMA (7) is in the mix following a respectable second at her first run back over 1690m at this circuit. Will be better for that hit-out.
