Had recorded a win and two seconds from his previous three outings at Newcastle, all over this distance. The good draw gives him the chance to bounce back. ANTETOKOUNMPO (7) has been racing well, coming from the back row to fill a top-four position in all three starts since a spell including a second most recently at Albion Park. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and if he gets the gaps could break through. BRAVE BONDI (1) drew on the back row last start and came from wider than this when runner-up prior. Can take advantage of the ace draw. COUNTRY MAJOR (6) put the writing on the wall with a respectable third at his most recent appearance here. Draws wider but should be near peak fitness now.
