AVENGER NZ (2) drew wider when tackling a stronger race last start and had been producing some decent efforts prior including a win from the back row at Newcastle. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run and he owns a good record at this circuit and distance. LEAVE IT TO LUCY (1) led from this barrier when she won at this circuit and distance two runs ago and was solid in finishing fourth from the back row at her latest appearance at Newcastle. Likely to get the favours from the ace draw so can give a big sight. SUNDAY MORNINGS (8) draws on the second line but comes back in grade off a respectable second at his most recent appearance here. THOMAS ROYAL (3) hasn't raced since a fourth here in April but has trialled and should not have any excuses from the favourable draw.
